We have taken great care to choose stylish kitchen units and sanitary ware from high quality manufacturers. However, there are a few things you can do to retain their appearance.
Door fronts, interiors and taps cleaning
It is best to avoid using too much water, abrasive cleaning agents or wire wool. Mild detergent on a damp cloth normally gives an excellent result.
Hinges and drawer runners
Please inspect these regularly for obstructions and keep them clean to ensure that they operate smoothly.
Worktops
We would recommend that surfaces should always be protected from hot pans, abrasive cleaners and strong dyes.
Sinks/wash-hand basins
Most everyday stains may be removed by wiping with a cloth and a mild cream cleaner. It is also worthwhile making sure that the seal around your sink is watertight - this should prevent penetration of water to the work surface.
Stainless steel sinks
If you wipe dry then buff with a soft cloth, the polished surface will be restored.
Lighting
We recommend that you use 10 watt lightbulbs for kitchen unit spotlights.
Showers
Parts of the shower may burn out if you leave the electric shower switches on – please turn these off when they are not in use. Additionally, the showerhead is not designed to bend and constant removal of it from the holder can cause damage to the hose.
Baths
If your bath or shower surface becomes accidentally damaged, you can use a specialist company to restore these. Please also be careful with harsh cleaning products. Remember that areas around the bath and shower units need to be re-sealed and re-grouted from time to time to avoid any potential water damage. It is worthwhile occasionally removing your bath panel to check that the seal between the bath and wall tiles is intact. To fix this, adjust the bath legs to raise the bath and re-seal.
